Inertia dynamometer is used to test all kinds of car pads. This dynamometer performs the necessary tests by creating an inertia equivalent to the car’s moving inertia and keeping the inertial mass by means of a brake, and calculates the braking force, friction, noise, temperature, etc. In the figure below, the schematic of such dynamometers is shown.
